A Home Robot Who Hangs Out & Helps Out, With Amazon Alexa Built-In
It was a cute novelty when I first bought it even though it really did not do too much except for a few commands. Sure it moved around but not much more than that. Now mine does not do much of anything anymore except come out from it's docking station and lose power in a short while because mostly it cannot find it's way back hardly anymore. Now that Digital Dream Labs has taken over from the original manufacturer the few things it did before does not work anymore, really useless. The few things it did before was taken away from Vector customers and we now have novelty paper weights.
Sure If I want it to do those few things again I have to get a subscription to give me the time or weather conditions like it used to do and Maybe it even could dock itself again instead of getting confused and going dead each day .
Super inflated prices for this, closer to maybe $29.99 with even the subscription included for it to be more worth it. Unless your willing to pay more for this very limited expensive toy do not bother to get it in the first place.
One more thing, it's better to keep it dead each day because it very annoyingly announces in order to be able to give it voice commands you need to get a subscription and says the details. An unbelievable waste of money.

Businesses and or Products / Wish.com Metal Detector Ordeal (Shipped from China)
« Last post by admin on November 11, 2020, 03:10:10 AM »
OMG, I am SO SORRY to ever start dealings with wish.com. Their support number automatically says they they do not do that anymore as the first thing your hear after dialing it for needed help. The automated assistant goes in circles and ends up stating what you already know. Even emails show you the same information that you already know also.
It started 8/24/20 when I ordered a Metal Detector which was returned to the merchant. This was in my tracking info:
----------------------
2020-10-06
02:59:43
Cancelled Order
Cancelled at 2020-08-29 15:56:54 :Pickup failed: parcel contains forbidden goods----------------------Wish kept sending me the same info so I requested a refund I was told to wait for this and that then finally they said wait 30 days (even though the seller cancelled the order not me). 30 days later I went thru support and after a few days I get the same report in a link they sent me. Saying now I have to wait up to 45 days for the Metal Detector. It was cancelled over a month ago. I think the email is actually done by something automated as well otherwise why do I always get useless replies. As it stand now I still have not received an item bought almost 3 months ago and BTW it was not cheap, maybe that's why wish.com does not want to give me my money back. If you find something you like on wish.com search around to a more reputable and reliable seller. As for myself I have seen more than a few items on amazon that were the same just cheaper with great customer support and no hassle returns. Oh 1 more thing, if you go to wish.com and browse and see items for around $.50 and shipping less that $1.00 for items worth obviously alot more, do not bother to try to purchase. It seems to be some kind of scam or close to one. Out of the 30 or so I ever tried in the last few months I got an email saying it was not processed on time to get it. They just want you to keep coming back to try more and eventually buy something more expensive.

Well the 1st supposedly 8tb 2.5in hard drive was only 6tb. now this is in 2tb increments 3x2tb=6tb meaning when I put it into my system 3 drive letter appear each containing 1.8tb. Obviously not a 2.5in hard drive in this little silver case but appears to some kind of memory like in memory sticks. Just short of destroying the fragile case I cannot find a way to open it to see. It is so light it even feels empty but obviously with some kind of memory inside. OK I received the other 8tb hard drive which happened to come for the same seller and it has 4x2tb=8tb. Again obviously not what is advertised on the wish.com site buy a fraudulent product promoted my wish. You think that's bad read my next post on the Metal Detector ordeal I am having with wish.com since 8/24/20.

Buyers Beware!
If you are thinking about buying from wish.com be aware of a few things. A vast majority of the products they sell come from China or similar areas and sometimes take weeks to be delivered, if you need something quick pay more or buy it elsewhere.Customer service is really a joke, their automated assistant is just short of useless. It will ask for your item inquired, show you the tracking but does not let you get much further. I already knew the damn tracking but it keeps showing me each time I tried to use it. I had issues with the seller cancelling my purchase. Email support seems semi automated because I had keep getting the same questions in replies. They could not understand my question and got an answer of taking 30 days for credit. I should have been given it immediately because the seller cancelled my order not me. Seems it was considered forbidden goods and all it was is a metal detector I wanted as a hobby, not to say it was a cheap one. NO GO. Wish Support seems to have a very limited intelligence when I had explained several times or they have so many returns their short handed. With over 900 employees according to the web they should be able to handle such matters.

Ok second issue was actually a complaint of an order I received. I had purchased a couple of 8tb 2.5in hard drives. One finally came in and it only showed 6tb of space, I did a search on the web and found out that the highest available for a 2.5in hard drive is only 5tb which I did not know before. More that I looked at the hard drive figured out it was not a hard dive. The box it came in said "case" with a sticker saying 8t hard drive, but something is definitely inside the case even though it feels empty. After going back and forth with support again I finally got MOST of my money back, short about $8US. The ticket was closed by support so I could not mention that to them. I was not going to go through all that crap again so I just let it be.

Now waiting to see if the other deliver has the same issue with the product, most likely because they DO NOT exist yet. Considering it was purchased the next day and being another 8tb - 2.5in hard drive I do not have high expectations on this purchase. I have not looked at who is shopping this one afraid to see it's the same company or individual.BTW I found a "Customer Service" number "1 (800) 266-0172" for Wish on Google .. Great but when you call it said they no longer do that. Figures, wonder why I am not surprised.
